New arrivals from Central America!

This amazing headwear belongs to the people of Kaqchikel from the May language family. Their traditional costume has borrowed a lot from the Spanish settlers in the colonial epoch, but the headdresses have preserved unique shapes. The length of this tocoyal which is worn by married women exceeds 16 meters! Its both ends are decorated by hand embroidery.
