Women's hat

This woolen headdress of an interesting shape was discovered on the old bazaar of Istanbul. The seller could not tell its origin, but judging from silver Soviet coins of the 1920s, sewn on the front, the hat should have originated from Central Asia - most probably Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan. The pendants are decorated by cock's feathers. Central Asia, early 20th cent.
