Water-seller is one of the oldest and most important professions in the cities of North Africa where the heat in summer reaches 55 degrees. Carrying their colourful dresses and vessels filled with water behind their backs, water-sellers wander around bazaars from one shop to another, feeding the thirst of both traders and customers. This tradition is still alive in some of the oldest cities of Morocco: Fes, Rabat and Marrakech. Morocco, late 20th cent.
