Povoynik

This povoynik was usually called the "tailed povoynik".  It is sewn from pink satin, the headband on blue cloth is decorated with three rich rosettes of bugles  (pieces of Christmas decorations). On the crown is a rosette with the same ornaments. The lower ends are trimmed with factory-made lace. Most likely it pertains to the bride's wedding dress, first worn on the first day of the celebration. Russia, Ryazan region, Skopinsky distr., 20th  cent.
