Who is unaware of Dutch lace? There was a time when every housewife dreamt of overcome her neighbours by creating the ideal and most intricate lace bonnet. It could cover both the head and almost all the face. Today, this tradition is mostly lost, but the traditional costume still includes a beautiful lace bonnet. Netherlands, early 20th cent.
