Kapa

Cylindric caps are widespread across the Balkans, and most ethnic groups call them kapa. The Serbian variety is tall and has a red woolen top on which the element of the Serbian national emblem is depicted. It comes from four B letters symbolizing the Greek expression "King of kings ruling over rulers" - it was the slogan of the Paleologs, last Byzantine imperial dynasty.
