Apparently isaba is only a part of a rather complex headdress of women of the Tihama region of Yemen. Head should always be covered with a shawl, but from underneath usually fall ornate ribbons such as this one on the shoulders and chest. The main decorative element here is small river shells, while the fringe is made of woolen threads and beads. Yemen, Tihama.
