Hei Huruhuru

This traditional headdress is made for traditional female dancers at ceremonies. Nowadays the traditional material (it is made of tapa and chicken feathers) is replaced by cloth. Another variety of the same headdress is made of banana leave threads, but its name is different. The habitual headdress of the Easter island inhabitants of today is a usual baseball cap though.
