Headband

The headband has always been the traditional Apache headdress, for both men and women. They placed it rather low on the head to keep the hair from the eyes. The early headbands consisted of a band braided from the long leaves of the yucca, but were replaced by cloth and leather headbands. The colour and shape of beaded decoration depends on the tribe.
